Introduction:
The Services-I Section deals with the Personal Files, Service Books and Pay Bills of more than 300 numbers of BS-17 and above faculty members and officers. Indeed, this is a small establishment in itself which in the same type of organization is usually run by at least 15 to 20 Executive and support ministerial staff. The Services-I Section have a lot of work disposed of daily. This includes dealing with appointment, promotions, maintenances of Service Books and Personal Files, pay bills, short trainings, seminar, workshops, higher studies leading to Ph.D and Post-Doc, deputations, study leave, preparation of items for Syndicate and F&PC regarding Registrar Setup including Removal/dismissal from Services and other disciplinary cases, income tax cases, court cases, summaries for Chancellor/Governor Secretariat, retirement and pension cases, official visits abroad by the Vice chancellor, reply to audit paras, scholarship cases, dealing with the R&D organizations and monitoring of subordinate staff and a wide range correspondence with HEC. Services-I Section also deals with settlement of Audit Paras, appeals of faculties received through Agriculture Department/ Governor's Secretariat and act as member of Inquiry Committees. This Section maintains database of faculties and administrative staff members.
