About Faculty
The University Of Agriculture Peshawar is the public research institute dedicated to the Agricultural sector of the country. The institute has multiple centres and one such centre is in Mardan. The institute was established in the year 1981 and since then playing a key role in imparting agricultural education and doing important researches on agriculture. The institute main aim is to support citizens who are affiliated with the agriculture industry, by producing highly innovative and skilled individuals who can play an important role in the agriculture sector and develop the agriculture sector by bringing up more useful ideas and sophisticated means for harvesting. The institute currently has 6 faculties and 2 institutes, Nutrition Sciences, Crop Production Sciences, Animal Husbandary & Veterinary Science, Rural Social Science, Management & Computer Science, Crop Protection Science, Institute of Biotechnology & Genetic Engineering and Institute of Development Studies.
